The 1.2 mm thin chassis is heavier than a carbon fibre or aluminium chassis and lowers the centre of gravity of the vehicle enormously. Often better handling and an "easier to drive car" can be the advantage of using a steel chassis.

Update 27.11.26: To mount the aluminium upstop components on the chassis, a 0.25mm washer must be used. This must be installed between the chassis and the aluminium part. The screw cannot be tightened without the washers. The original screws from Xray must be used (M2.5x5mm). We have added 4 of these required washers to the screw set for one car!
