Equipped with the Velineon® 540XL brushless motor and VXL-4s™ waterproof ESC, the Maxx Ultimate reaches speeds over 55+ mph with optional 4S LiPo power. The TQi™ 2.4 GHz transmitter with a factory-installed wireless module allows real-time telemetry via the Traxxas Link™ app. The high-torque 2085RL steering servo with an aluminum double-shear horn delivers precise, responsive steering even under the stress of massive Sledgehammer tires.
The Maxx Ultimate's driveline is engineered for maximum strength and efficiency, featuring full-time shaft-driven 4WD, steel constant-velocity driveshafts, and a torque-biasing center drive with an aluminum housing. Sealed, silicone-filled differentials with heavy-duty gears distribute power evenly for precise handling and durability. A Cush Drive™ with a steel spur gear absorbs shocks from hard landings and aggressive throttle inputs, while the aluminum motor cradle and transmission cover lock everything into perfect alignment.
