The Traxxas XRT Ultimate 8S RTR delivers uncompromising speed and performance with its upgraded Velineon® 1200XL brushless motor and aggressively tuned VXL-8s™ waterproof electronic speed control. Featuring dual cooling fans, machined heat sinks, and powered accessory ports, the ESC pushes the motor to reach speeds of 60+ mph with dual 4s LiPo batteries. Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM) enhances control without limiting throttle, ensuring straight-line performance even on low-traction surfaces.
The XRT Ultimate is built with 6061-T6 aluminum upgrades throughout C-hubs, steering blocks, rear hub carriers, differential housings, and motor mounts for increased strength and rigidity. Its X-Maxx® Spec 8s drivetrain features hardened steel gears, splined aluminum center driveshaft, and laser-etched CV driveshafts for full-time 4WD power. With Maxx® Spec differentials, a Torque-Biasing Center Drive, and a rock-solid motor mounting system, every drivetrain component is designed for serious off-road abuse and massive torque handling.
The XRT boasts WideMaxx® suspension arms, GTX™ aluminum race shocks, and TUBES 7075-T6 toe links, combining ultra-wide stance and rugged suspension geometry with smooth, race-ready damping. A 2085RL high-output servo delivers 650 oz-in of torque paired with aluminum bellcranks and a double-shear servo horn, offering precise and responsive steering. With adjustable roll centers, sealed bearings, and dirt-evacuation channels, this monster truck is ready for aggressive cornering and all-terrain control.
The ultra-low center of gravity (CG) chassis offers increased stability and modular design for easy servicing. Dual snap-lock battery compartments secure your packs while protecting them from side impacts. The ProGraphix® clipless body includes cooling ducts, a rigid frame, and molded reinforcements for durability. Reinforced bumpers, nerf bars, and a heavy-duty wheelie bar with a carry handle add protection and style. The truck rolls on 7.4-inch Gravix™ belted tires mounted to 3.8-inch XRT race wheels, providing sharp turn-in, low noise, and virtually no ballooning at high speeds.
