Comments from AwesomatixUSA drivers-

  • If you shim the dampener, only shim them 0.5mm and not a full 1mm
  • Majority of drivers have used this Ti chassis w/o dampener shims
  • The Titanium chassis offers more overall grip (compared to steel) and especially more forward bite
  • The Titanium chassis offers the similar handling to the Alloy (A800-C01B-RAF) but with higher corner speed (similar to Steel)

Manufacture's press release-

C01B-RSL Lower Deck

Made from the strongest-grade 1.5mm titanium, this chassis version weighs ~108g.

The new C01B-RSL offers a great alternative to the heavier C01B-RS Steel chassis (~140g) in Blinky classes,
allowing to get closer to the minimum weight where big battery packs (~over 290g) can provide a power advantage.
Moreover this chassis showed remarkable attributes in modified class on US and EU indoor tracks
with improved cornerspeed and forwarded traction being reported during testing.
Six pockets for optional installation of TW5 Tungsten weights (not included) allows to raise the overall chassis weight to ~140g.

INFO:

This chassis requires specifically machined screws --> SS-SC / SS-SC2  (not included).
ST237 Damper Spacers (4pcs) or SH0.5mm Shims (8pcs) should be used under D3 / D4 Dampers (not included).
P14-1-RS Lower Bumper is recommended to use with C01B-RSL Lower Deck (not included).

AM278-EVO Bulkheads are required (not included).
Some C01B-RSL Chassis may show machine marks while others don't.

Flatness Compliance Notice:
Every chassis we produce is individually tested to ensure it meets our strict flatness tolerances (≤ 0.4mm).

Measurements are conducted on a certified flat surface under the chassis own weight, using calibrated probes.
If a chassis meets these specifications, it is considered within tolerance and cannot be accepted as defective.
Claims based on unverified methods or improper testing conditions will not be considered.
Our standards are clear, and every chassis leaving our facility meets them.
