Even if we have never met, the fact that you are reading this now presents us with the opportunity to introduce you to a very special Friend of ours.  He is a Friend that sticks closer than a brother, a Friend who said he will never leave you or forsake you, a Friend who can provide for your every need.  You may have already met Him and know Him personally. If so I’m sure you would agree that there is no greater friend to be found.  If you haven’t met Him yet we want you to know who He is and what He has already done for you.  Our Special Friend is the Lord Jesus Christ.  He already knows you and He loves you anyway.  I know some of you may be offended at this and this may be where you are tempted to toss this brochure aside, but I am asking you to stick around a little longer.  Will you spend a minute with us looking at why we believe these things are true and why you can trust them?

In the Bible it is recorded in John 3:16 that Jesus said.  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”  Read this again but this time substitute your name in the blanks to see just what the Lord thinks about you: For God so loved ____, that he gave his one and only Son, that if ____believes in him he or she shall not perish, but have eternal life.  This is how He feels about you and what He has already done for you, no matter how you feel about Him.  There is no greater Friend that we could ever have!

If we go to God’s Word, the Bible, we will see what this really is worth.  In Romans 3:23 we read “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”; Romans 6:23a says “the wages of sin is death”; Romans 5:8 tells us that how we feel about God doesn’t change what he has done for us because “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Think about it we were his enemies and He died for us.  Romans 6:23b says that “the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”; Hebrews 9:27 tells us that “man is destined to die once and after that to face judgment.”  We all have sinned and therefore are doomed to death-spiritual death and hell, so is there any hope for us?

The name of our original car is the XCS, Xtreme Corner Speed, but it can also stand for Xtreme Cleansing Source because that is just what our Friend Jesus is: Isaiah 1:18 “Come now let us reason together,” says the Lord.  “Though your sins are red as crimson, they shall be as white as snow.” Psalm 51:7 “…wash me and I will be whiter than snow.” Acts 22:16 “…be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his (Jesus) name.”  1 John 1:8-9 tells us “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from ALL sin.”  John 20:31 “These are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that believing you might have life through His name.”  Acts 4:12 says “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” WOW, Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sins and offers us each his free gift of salvation.  Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any should boast.”  Romans 10:9 tells us “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

The choice is yours. In 2 Peter 3:9 we are told “He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” This passage is referring to the second coming of the Lord and is followed with the assurance that He will return. He is even preparing a place for you and when he returns he will take you to be with him forever if you have accepted his offer (John 14: 1-4).  Yes he is patiently waiting for you to accept his free offer of forgiveness and salvation, but that offer will expire if you haven’t redeemed it before he returns.  Once again, the choice is yours and the time is now.  We pray you will give these truths consideration and come join our family, the family of God.  If you have questions or just need to talk about all of this we would be glad to talk with you.
